Jay Cutler is a lightning rod for controversy. The Chicago Bears quarterback is having a horrific game, which is the same for almost everyone on the team. However, Cutler is the one who has his body language dissected. Now we have some more ammo to use because Cutler is not very happy with the fans in this following video.
There has been a lot of discussion about this on Twitter and it seems that we have finally reached a consensus on what Cutler ended up saying. It ends up resembling the following:
These [expletive deleted] fans, I swear to God
That is in response to the crowd booing the team as they went into the locker room. Believe it or not, I do not have issue with Cutler reacting like this. The Bears are quite good this year and booing at the half is a bit of an overreaction. Purely a “what have you done for me lately” attitude, but that is how sports work these days.
Between Cutler and Cam Newton, this game should be called the Body Langue Bowl. These two guys have every movement looked at under a microscope. The fact that the cameras caught Cutler saying this is not a shock. The camera is always on him because people expect him to have a blowup at least once a game. This is not a terrible thing but it certainly does not look amazing.
Expect the team to play better in the second half or this will get talked about a lot more than it should.
