Jack Taylor from Grinnell College is going to be talked about a lot over the next few days. He set a Division III record for points in a game as the star scored 138 points in a 179-104 win over Faith Baptist.

Let us break this bad boy down. Taylor was 52-108 from the field, including 27-71 from downtown. He chipped 7-10 from the free throw line to give him his 138 points. That is so out of this world that I have no idea how to react. That point total is simply obscene.
I actually want to see game tape of this. Was he the only one shooting on his team? How else do you end up shooting over 100 times in a game? You would think his teammates would be mad after awhile. He was not shooting an incredible percentage so it looks like he might have been chucking shots.
I actually want to see a full box score for this game. If he had more than two assists, I would be extremely shocked. You know that it would be simply hilarious if he had 138 points and minimal assists. I guess shooters just want to keep shooting at the end of the day.
Congratulations to Jack on setting this record. There are not many people that can put up numbers like this. He is going to be in the history books for a long time. Not bad for a small school in Iowa.
