Texas A&M Creates "Johnny Football: The Video Game" For Johnny Manziel

By Riley Schmitt

Texas A&M knows they have a godsend in Johnny Manziel. The freshman quarterback is probably going to win the Heisman Trophy and he certainly deserves it. In order to build some hype for his campaign, the school has come out with a video called “Johnny Football: The Video Game,” and it is simply amazing.

This could be the best Heisman hype ever.  If there is a way to build hype with a younger generation, it is to make something into a video game.  As a person who grew up playing Tecmo Bowl, I absolutely love this video.  They made Manziel look like Bo Jackson and that means you simply cannot lose with him.

It is going to take a lot for Manziel to lose the trophy but this hype video should keep him fresh in the minds of everyone.  Once people get wind of this, this video will be seen by so many people.  That should be enough to get the attention that the school hopes to garner from this.

It is going to be great to see the freshman in New York at the ceremony.  Winning the award as a freshman would be an incredible experience and I simply do not see how he loses the award.  If he does not get hurt, there is no way that he does not win the trophy.

Manziel has set the football world on fire this year and this video certainly does not hurt.  If you will excuse me, I need to go back and watch this again.
