The Golden State Warriors Don’t Know the Lyrics to Jingle Bells
The Golden State Warriors potentially have the most pathetic version singing holiday songs that I have ever seen. It’s supposed to be the popular song Jingle Bells but instead it’s just a disastrous cluster.
It starts off with Klay Thompson complaining that he has to sing. He was followed by Festuz Ezeli who complained that he needed a bigger hat to wear. Judging simply by these two, you can tell the video isn’t working out too well for the Warriors.
And then comes along Stephen Curry with his red argyle sweater and oversized candy cane; he was probably the most cheerful of the three. Before I proceed with the complaints, take a second to watch the horrific Christmas greeting.
The best part about this video is that not a single one of them seems to know the lyrics. Curry looks at someone to double check, Thompson had a piece of paper in his hand the whole time and even Ezeli looked lost near the end.
Who doesn’t know the classic Christmas song Jingle Bells? I’m pretty sure that I learned that back in Kindergarten.
I was going to ask why there were only three players participating in the video, but I think the rest of the team should be lucky that they are not in the Christmas greeting. I don’t know if the rest of the team chose not to be in it, or if the editor just wanted to make these three look like complete idiots but it is quite pathetically entertaining.
There haven’t been too many other NBA Christmas greetings on YouTube yet this year, but I’d have to say that I don’t think anything can get worse than this one.
