15 Random Sports Photos for Your Entertainment
As we put the month of January behind us, the reality sets in that there will be no more football in just a few more days. From September all the way through January, football is basically the main event every sports weekend. While it is sad to see it go, it's by no means a bad thing.
I'm a firm believer in keeping things fresh. When you're overexposed to something, you get burnt out and tired of the same old things. When football goes on it's six month hiatus, it only recharges our passion for the game. Now of course in today's world, there is no shortage of NFL coverage during the off-season. Heck, the Draft is whole mini-season in it's own.
I use the off time from football to focus in on the NBA and eventually MLB. Believe it or not, we're only a couple weeks from the start of Spring Training.
NBA All-Star weekend is upon us, an event I always find entertaining. Sure the dunk contest isn't what it used to be, but the skills competitions are head and shoulders above the other major sports. That's been a big area of debate lately for the NFL. I do believe the league should create a skills competition to increase interest for the Pro Bowl. They could easily throw together a quarterback challenge and a kicking challenge. There are so many directions to go with the many positions in football.
So with that we make the transition to more randomness from the world of sports with 15 pictures snapped just at the right time:
