The amazing buzzer beater involving Grant Hill‘s pass to Christian Laettner from 1992 in which the Duke Blue Devils pulled off the miraculous win against the Kentucky Wildcats will easily go down as one of the greatest sports plays of all time. In fact, it seemed nearly impossible for any team to reenact that type of shot–until one high school team from Michigan pulled it off.

As you can see in the video above, two players from the Hudsonville Eagles pulled off the miraculous shot at the end of their game against the Forest Hills Northern Huskies to tie it up before going on to win in overtime. Brent Hibbits and Cody Stuive pulled off the incredible play that apparently had worked on the play numerous times throughout practice and luckily–it worked out at the perfect time in the MHSAA Class A Regional Semifinal.

This year has been filled with plenty of amazing buzzer beaters and this latest one from the Hudsonville Eagles just adds to the list. It’s amazing to see players at this age pull off such incredible shots and luckily for them–it sometimes will make them overnight celebrities as the videos tend to go viral.

While it may not have been the game-winning shot, it was still good to see the Eagles go on to win the game in overtime. Otherwise, this shot wouldn’t be as much fun to watch if it ended up being a loss.
