Sporting couple Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn have today made their relationship official by using one of the modern methods to confirm so: Facebook.
Woods tweeted: “Just posted some pictures of @Lindseyvonn and me on Facebook.”
The golfer also confirmed the news via a photo album, which read:
“This season has been great so far and I’m happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral. Something nice that’s happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating. We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.”
Ironically, he says he wants to keep it private, but also attached various shots of the two looking happy as can be. Click here to view the album.
Vonn, an alpine skier and model, suffered a horrific accident recently, and is still nursing the injuries on crutches. That said, she has strong faith to be an integral part of the USA’s Winter Olympics team next year.
The rumours of their relationship were originally denied earlier this year, but having spent time with each other’s families, Woods and Vonn have broken free from the chains of secrecy and publicly announced their admiration for one another.
