Michigan Wolverines Guard Spike Albrecht Reaches Out to Kate Upton on Twitter After National Championship

Even if the Michigan Wolverines didn’t come out on top as champions, you have to give credit to backup point guard Spike Albrecht for the performance he displayed in the first half against the Louisville Cardinals on Monday night as he finished with 17 points in the first half. If the college basketball world didn’t know who Albrecht was before, they certainly do now and the point guard seems to be trying to take advantage of the spotlight as much as possible–which includes reaching out to the beautiful Kate Upton on Twitter.

It really shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone that Upton was in attendance for the game considering she’s been just about everywhere in the sports world over the last year or so. Plus, the title game in the NCAA Tournament is always one of the most-watched sporting events each year–so it would be wise for Upton to take advantage of the national spotlight.

@kateupton hey saw you at the game last night, thanks for coming out! Hope to see you again

Even if he doesn’t receive a response ever, you have to give Albrecht credit for at least trying to reach out to Upton. Nobody knows how many opportunities Albrecht will get to interact with Upton–so props to him for taking advantage of the situation since he knew she was watching from the sidelines.

Plus, if she did respond back, it’s safe to say just about every male in this country would be jealous and wish they were in Albrecht’s shoes.
