Papa John's Owner John Schnatter Looks Like He Enjoyed Louisville Cardinals Winning the National Championship Too Much

By Dan Parzych

From their come-from-behind victory over Syracuse in the Big East Championship to their inspirational play behind Kevin Ware‘s injury, the Louisville Cardinals topped off their magical run in the 2013 NCAA Tournament with an impressive 82-76 win over the Michigan Wolverines on Monday to win their third National Championship in school history. As expected, Louisville fans were out and about celebrating their school’s big win as they’ve been waiting a long time for Rick Pitino to bring them another championship, but when looking at the photo above–it’s safe to say nobody may have celebrated the win more than Papa John’s owner John Schnatter.

As you can see, Schnatter posed with a few Cardinals fans after the game and while it’s unfair to judge a man off one photo–it’s safe to say the Papa John’s owner is struggling just to stand up in this photo. In case you were wondering why someone like Schnatter would be such a big Louisville fan, keep in mind the school’s football stadium is named Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium–so it should be no surprise to hear he was cheering hard for Pitino and company on Monday night.

Schnatter deserves to have a good time just like any other fan, but it’s always hilarious to see these types of photos hit the web when your a national celebrity and it’s safe to say he regrets posing for any photos following Monday’s game. Either way, it’s difficult not to laugh over this photo considering Schnatter most likely never believed in a million years the photo would go viral.

Props to our friends at Bro Bible for the photo above.
