Liverpool Soccer player Luis Suarez has been spotted biting Chelsea‘s Branislav Ivanovic during the Premier League clash, which ended 2-2.
The video below displays the Uruguayan digging his teeth into the arm of his opponent is a disgusting and bizarre act. Suarez has a reputation in England and worldwide for being a nuisance following racism incidents and other previous incidents.
But remarkably, this is not the first time Suarez has bit an opponent during a match and fully knows the implications.
Whilst playing for Ajax in Holland, Suarez lunged a bite at PSV midfielder Otman Bakkal; this was back in 2010. He received a seven-match ban that time, and there will be no surprise what so ever he receives such a punishment once again.
It is actually quite horrendous. Despite being a great footballer, he creates such a divide in opinion due to his personality and behavior. Suarez managed to score in the last minute for Liverpool to save his side a point.
Suarez has been the focus of large discussion in the Soccer world as he is one of six players nominated for the PFA Player of the Year award — but Suarez’ antics are very likely to result in him missing out on a large number of votes, which will cost him.
It’s a disgusting incident, to be honest, as the intent is clearly there. There is no blame towards the referees for missing this during the game, given the fact of how hard it would be to spot.
