2013 NBA Playoffs: Video of Los Angeles Clippers G Chris Paul’s Game-Winning Layup Against Memphis Grizzlies

There are high expectations for the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2013 NBA playoffs, but their first-round matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies certainly won’t be an easy one to deal with. In fact, it took up until the end of Game 2 for the Clippers to get by the Grizzlies and they wouldn’t have been able to do so without the heroics of Chris Paul.

As you can see in the video above, Paul came through with the game-winning shot for Los Angeles as time expired to give them the 93-91 win. Paul finished the game with 24 points to go along with four rebounds and nine assists–proving once again why he’s one of the best guards in the league.

This team will go as far in the playoffs as Paul and Blake Griffin will carry them and Monday’s win against the Grizzlies was a big one as they now have a 2-0 series lead. The last thing Los Angeles wanted to see happen was head to Memphis with the series tied 1-1 with the Grizzlies having the next two games at home.

Instead, Paul’s clutch basket at the end of the game helped give the Clippers an advantage heading into Game 3. Paul has always proven to be one of the most clutch players in the league throughout his entire career and Monday’s game against the Grizzlies was the perfect example as to why.

If you didn’t think this series was going to be fun to watch–you’re sure in for quite the treat over the next couple of games.
