Chicago Bulls: Could This Nate Robinson Billboard be the Funniest Ever?

If there’s one thing that Nate Robinson has been throughout the playoffs thus far, it’s skilled and heroic. If there is another word to describe the Chicago Bulls‘ point guard, it’s short.

A Chicago-area billboard has further proved that notion by adding a team photo with the words ‘Let’s Go Bulls’ on it and five players featured on it. Well, I should say four and a half.

If you look closely at the billboard, you will see a basketball-sized figure next to Joakim Noah. It’s a bird, it’s a plane. No, wait, it’s just little ‘ole Nate Robinson. He is featured on this hilarious billboard next to four giants while he looks like he is fighting to keep his head above water in the middle of the ocean.

The Bulls face a crucial Game 2 tonight against the Miami Heat and a win could turn this serious into an upset for the ages. I say crucial Game 2 because any game in a best-of-seven series against the Heat is hard to win– especially on the road like the Bulls did in Game 1.

Robinson has emerged as the star of the playoffs for the Bulls as they are making this improbable playoff run without star point guard Derrick Rose. He is averaging about 18 points and four assists while earning his keep in the starting lineup– for now.

Well, Robinson has become a household name in the 2013 playoffs, and this billboard just adds to the guard’s budding popularity. He is listed as 5-foot-9 on the Bulls’ roster, but I bet that is extremely generous. He knows he is height-challenged as well, saying after Game 1 that God blessed him with all heart and no height.

This may be the best billboard ever made. Seriously.
