Jacksonville Jaguars Fans Create Site Saying Team Doesn’t Need Tim Tebow

(Rob Foldy/USA Today Sports)

Over the last couple of weeks, there’s seemed to be a set of mixed emotions from Jacksonville Jaguars when it comes to whether or not the team should sign Tim Tebow for the 2013 season. Tebow was released by the New York Jets a couple of weeks ago and while the organization has made it clear they have no intention of bringing the quarterback on board–there are still some fans fighting to give him a shot for the 2013 season.

However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a group of fans that will do whatever it takes to keep Tebow away from Jacksonville–which is exactly what the Bold City Brigade has done this week.

The Bold City Brigade is a Jaguars booster club that has created a website by the name of Evenifhesreleased.com to make their voices heard about how much they don’t want the Jaguars to join the team for the 2013 season. Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen fans create a petition on the White House website to an Orlando attorney creating a commercial to bring Tebow on board next season, but it’s not every day you see a group of fans taking the time to dedicate their time to focusing on making sure he doesn’t join the team.

It’s understandable that Jacksonville has some questions surrounding the quarterback position, but the last thing they need to do is go after a quarterback like Tebow considering his mechanics are still far from being effective at the pro level. . If anything, the Jaguars need to focus on their current quarterbacks and try to bounce back from a disappointing two-win season in 2012.
