Chicago Bulls Twitter: @chicagobulls

Remember back in the day, when Twitter wasn’t popular and there were hundreds of fake celebrity Facebook accounts everywhere? You never really knew if you were following your favorite athlete or a hacker on Facebook; actually, you still can’t tell if a celebrity’s Facebook page is real or not.

But have no fear; Twitter has taken care of that problem. The creators of Twitter were very clever by allowing celebrities and athletes to “verify” their personal account. This way, you know that you are following the real account, not some just a fan with a bogus name.

As a Chicago Bulls fan, I already follow all of the players on Twitter. So, do you know which of your favorite players have a legitimate Twitter account? Surprisingly, almost every single player on the team has a verified account. The only Bulls players without a verified account were Kirk Hinrich and Vladimir Radmanovic.

Some of these guys tweet often, and others rarely post anything. Now that these guys are in the playoffs, they have laid off the Twitter updates a little bit. One of the best features of Twitter is the fact that they can post their own personal pictures through TwitPic or Instagram. This just gives us even more confirmation that we are seeing the real person behind the Twitter account.

A lot of these guys have had some inspirational Twitter updates. Whether they are supporting their team, family, god, or their fans, they definitely prove they are real people and not just professional athletes that are making millions.

In the following slides, I have included their Twitter handles, as well as a couple of their tweets. So what are you waiting for? Go add your favorite Chicago Bulls players on Twitter! There's even a special person at the end that you may not be expecting!

So, Hamilton mostly just tweets his Instagram pictures, it's not that exciting of a profile. He also apparently doesn't realize that he plays for the Bulls because his bio says that he still plays for the Detroit Pistons.
