Nobody Should Be Giving Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III a Hard Time Over Fans Purchasing Wedding Gifts

By now, just about every football fan has heard about how Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is getting married in July to Rebecca Liddicoat. What you may not know is Griffin and his fiancé are registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond as some of his biggest fans came across their registry and showed their quarterback just how much they love him by purchasing gifts that have yet to be complained.

Does Griffin have enough money to buy these gifts on his own? Of course.

Should Griffin be getting a hard time because fans decided to shower him with gifts? Absolutely not.

The fact that Griffin is receiving criticism for something he didn’t even do is nothing short of ridiculous and everybody needs to realize there are bigger things in life to be concerned over. It’s not like Griffin sat there on social media websites begging fans to purchase gifts on his registry–they simply came across the website and decided to buy him the gifts on their own.

If anything, this just shows how much Griffin means to his fans as they’re willing to spend their own money to provide their beloved quarterback with gifts that can be used around his household. It may not seem like a big deal, but from a fan’s perspective–it would be pretty cool to say something along the lines of “Griffin got that toaster from me.”
