Cleveland Indians Pitcher Trevor Bauer Records Rap Song

The Cleveland Indians are having an unexpected great season so far this year. The team is making itself known in the American League Central division, and they’re going to make the race for a playoff spot in the Central a whole lot more interesting given that the defending American League champion Detroit Tigers were supposed to run away with it.

Indians prospect pitcher Trevor Bauer is having an especially fun season. Bauer released a rap song Wednesday about the team. The song is named ‘Gutter to the Grail’, and it rekindles the emotion of the season so far.

Here’s the initial verse from the song.

“From the gutter to the grail

We rise up to win it

Wahoos on first

With their eyes on the pennant”

It’s not half bad, but it is incredibly comical. Keeping the Indians off edge with things like this is going to help them make the playoffs this season. Cleveland has a record of 27-24 and is only two and a half games behind the Tigers for first place in the division. A laid back and cool Cleveland team is what fans need this season as they are are now expecting the Indians to play like a hungry playoff team day in and day out.

Teammate Mark Reynolds also said that the song will be is walk up music.

This season, Bauer is 1-2 with a 2.76 ERA in three starts, and he has also struck out 11 batters. Bauer hopes that Cleveland will be his home in the future after being traded from the Arizona Diamondbacks as part of a three-team trade including the Cincinnati Reds as well.
