It’s official — the line of the 2013 NHL Playoffs goes to a pilot of a Boston-bound flight who has no issue expressing his love for the Boston Bruins.
The Bruins took a 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday night, controlling things early and often with a 6-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Bruins got off to a hot start, scoring just over 30 seconds into Monday’s Game 2 contest and refusing to slow down from there. Boston tallied four goals in all in the first period alone.
With the victory, the Bruins are looking good heading back home to Boston for Game 3, while Pittsburgh must find a way to switch up the momentum in a hostile environment.
Well, on the lighter side of the heated started to the series, a pilot of a Boston-bound flight asked if a crying baby on board was actually Sidney Crosby. Boom. Roasted.
“Is that Sidney Crosby in the back crying?” – Pilot of flight to Boston this morning, clearly pleased with his #Bruins.

Baby crying in back of Jet Blue flight packed w/Boston media. Pilot just got on intercom and asked if “Sidney Crosby was in the back crying”

Crosby has been notoriously open to complaining about calls mid-game and it’s become a subject that bodes as to why the pilot would say that — other than the simple fact that he’s a Bruins fans.
Whelp, your move Sidney.
Bruins look to take 3-0 series lead on Wednesday night with the series shifting back to Boston.
