2013 NBA Finals: San Antonio Spurs Fan Makes One of the Coolest Pizzas You’ll Ever See Before Game 4
One of the best things about sports is watching the types of food fans come up with before the game in honor of their favorite teams. As for one San Antonio Spurs fan, he decided to go all out by making one of the best fan pizzas you may ever see.
As you can see in the photo above, the fan decided to make a pizza consisting of The Coyote mascot along with the Spurs logo and the championship trophy before the team’s Game 4 matchup against the Miami Heat in the 2013 NBA Finals. Unfortunately, the pizza most likely would have been more enjoyable if San Antonio had performed better.
Just a few days after blowing out Miami in Game 3, it was San Antonio who came up on the losing end Thursday night as they fell to the Heat 109-93 in a game where the Big Three just took over. As much as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh have been criticized this series, all three players stepped it up big on Thursday to tie this series at 2-2 to guarantee at least one more game in Miami.
With the way things turned out on Thursday, there’s a good chance this fan won’t be spending the time to make this type of pizza again considering how much time it must have taken him. Then again–it would be nice to see what type of design he would come up with if San Antonio did end up winning the championship after defeating Miami.
