15 Athletes You'd Hate to Party With

athletes
Stew Milne-USA TODAY Sports

Every major sport has those athletes who just can't seem to stay out of trouble. It's been like that throughout the years. O.J. Simpson is a prime example of a guy whose name is now a household one for all the wrong reasons.

Other athletes such as Barry Bonds and Jose Conseco made baseball news first because of their hot-swinging bats, but then because of their poor decisions off the field related to steroid use.

Dennis Rodman is notoriously known as the guy that makes questionable decisions, whether it's his weird clothing choices, outrageous attitude or strange trips to North Korea. I wouldn't say he's a bad guy off the court, but since his retirement, he hasn't necessarily been the guy you'd want to be around.

I have compiled a list of 15 athletes that you would hate to party with. They are guys who attract all the wrong attention, guys who are just plain old buzz kills, or guys who are crazy enough to get in anyone's face and land you in jail or with a black eye.

Even if you don't like partying, you could look at every guy on this list and just know exactly why they wouldn't be your first choice to take out for a night on the town.

Some guys would pay for your night of adventure, sure, but the consequences that might ensue would surely not be worth it. Some guys are superstar athletes, some are past their prime and all are just a hassle to keep an eye on.

From the first athlete on this list to the last, you won't be disappointed with any of the 15 athletes who you'd absolutely hate to party with.

Let me know what you think.

Well, this one speaks for itself now, doesn't it? Aaron Hernandez has not been the most popular guy in sports these days, recently being charged for murder and associated with a prior unsolved murder. That's just not a good time.

14. Terrell Owens

Terrell Owens has been in the news because he's trying to make a comeback to the NFL. However, the guy is spotlight hungry and would get to the party and forget you were even with him.

13. Dwight Howard

Bring baby Dwight Howard to the party and all he'd do is whine about leaving for another party with more people, and then he'd quickly change his mind and then change it back. At that point, you'd just be sick of him and try to ditch him.

12. Plaxico Burress

Well, besides bringing guns to clubs and shooting himself in the leg, Plaxico Burress is one of the least popular guys in the NFL. Nobody wants to take that chance.

Now we all know what happened last time Metta World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest, and beer were mixed. Bad, just bad news.

10. Michael Vick

Michael Vick might try to get you to join a secret animal fighting tournament. Okay, maybe that's a thing of the past, but you know what they say -- once a dog fighter, always a dog fighter.

9. Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods may just be way too wild behind the scenes for anyone's liking. In fact, he's got the texts to prove it.

8. Tim Tebow

Although he was seen partying it up in college, Tim Tebow seems to be all about God nowadays. Although that's great for him and a solid path to follow, I'm not sure his straight-and-narrow ways would be fun to party with. Plus, he'd just sit on the bench -- cough, I mean couch.

7. Chris Bosh

Bosh

As part of the Miami Heat's big three, Chris Bosh seems to be the odd man out. If you are going out with your friend, he'd definitely be up for taking the role of third wheel. He'd follow you around like a lost puppy.

6. Sidney Crosby

As one of the most hated men in all of hockey, Sidney Crosby would probably leave you hanging if you got in a fight. The guy is allergic to confrontation.

Want to get arrested? Titus Young is the party guy for you.

4. Manti Te'o

In this situation, you'd be the third wheel. Bring Manti Te'o with you to a party or the club and he'd be too busy talking and dancing with his invisible girlfriend. You would think it's just you two going to the party, but little did you know he had someone else.

3. Jay Cutler

Jay Cutler has been highly criticized for taking himself out of a big game a couple years back. He would party hard and then leave without you knowing. Too bad he was your ride home.

2. Alex Rodriguez

"Hey man, these pills will make you stronger." This is just one thing you'd hear from Alex Rodriguez if you took him with you to the bar. Slipping steroids in your drink -- whoops.

1. Ndamukong Suh

Suh
Andrew Weber - USA TODAY Sports

He's known as a hothead and doesn't really think when he's in the zone. Ndamukong Suh has been labeled as one of the most hated guys in the NFL for the overly aggressive play he's be accustomed to using. You could be spending the night in jail after a fight got far out of hand.
