Even though it took place back in 2005, the whole debate surrounding Donovan McNabb and whether or not he threw up in the fourth quarter when the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl is one of those things that seems like will never go away. Now, it appears there’s a new twist in the story as one of McNabb’s former teammates recently chimed in on the matter and believe it or not–he too claims No. 5 threw up.

Former Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard recently discussed in an interview how McNabb did in fact threw up in the fourth quarter during the Super Bowl against the Patriots–which is interesting when taking into consideration all of the stories heard over the years. There’s been plenty of debate about whether or not this actually happened as McNabb has denied it while other players–especially Terrell Owens–claimed to see the quarterback vomit on the football field.

Unfortunately, this seems like one of those stories where we may never find out the truth unless McNabb manages to come clean, but it sure is interesting to hear Sheppard’s perspective on what happened. There’s really no point in Sheppard telling a lie over something like this since it would be pointless on his end–so it will certainly be interesting to see if McNabb responds to these comments and hear what he has to say.

It’s amazing how a story like this gets dragged on for so long, isn’t it?
