Ranking the Hottest ACC Schools

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlantic Coast Conference is known for the high level of basketball they play, but there is a lot more going on than that in the ACC.

In case you haven’t heard, the ladies at the ACC schools are fine. Perhaps it has something to do with being near the ocean or driving fancy cars and wearing fancy clothes, but they have got it going on.

With the latest expansion, the conference is growing too. They have roped in the University of Notre Dame, Syracuse University and the University of Pittsburgh, and they are not done yet. As the conference continue to realign themselves, the pool of female talent continues to grow. Where will these new schools fall? Will any of the new schools be able to crack the top 10?

Let’s face it, sometimes a person looking to attend a university needs some guidance. They aren’t always sure what they would like to study or where they will be given the best chance to succeed. Let this list be your guide as to which ACC schools can provide you with the greatest opportunities in your personal life.

15. Duke University

Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

Unfortunately, someone had to come in last. The Duke Blue Devils have an exceptional basketball program and a great atmosphere at Cameron Indoor Stadium, but it seems like these girls just want to argue and always be right. That's not sexy. Not to mention, something has to take a backseat when books are the top priority.

14. Georgia Tech

Jason O. Watson-USA TODAY Sports

This woman may be the finest lady to ever attend the Georgia Tech. With a horrific guy-to-girl ratio (nearly three times more guys than gals), you'd better be a part Einstein's lineage if you hope to have any chance here.

13. Notre Dame University

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The ladies at Notre Dame travel in packs, and they aren't outgoing. They like to stick together and talk about getting their nails done or Ryan Gosling movies, or whatever else it is they babble about when girls get together. Maybe they'll move up with a little more experience in the conference, but for now they've got some work to do.

12. North Carolina State University

Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

A poor male-to-female ratio is this biggest knock on NC State. As an engineering school, it tends to reel in more dudes. You've got much better options if your top priority isn't crunching numbers and building skyscrapers.

11. Syracuse University

Kelley L. Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Crappy weather means the ladies at Syracuse don't get as many chances to show off their assets. That's really the only knock.

10. University of North Carolina

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Excellent guy-to-girl ratio here, but as the saying goes, quality over quantity. For the gambling types, you'll like your odds.

9. University of Pittsburgh

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Pittsburgh is another newcomer to the conference, and posted an impressive showing ahead of a few of the veterans. These ladies love to party. Perhaps it has something to do with having beer goggles on, but there's something incredibly striking about these gals.

8. University of Maryland

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

A wide variety is the biggest plus for the Maryland Terrapin ladies. Too many options is never a bad thing. They'll be leaving the conference for the Big Ten in 2014, but they deserved a ranking before they go. These gals have something mysterious about them.

7. Boston College

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

The only knock on Boston College is a lack of variety. It's like someone took a really sexy cookie cutter and made a bunch of preppy BC Eagles students. Don't get me wrong, it's a sexy cookie cutter.

6. Clemson University

Joshua S. Kelly-USA TODAY Sports

You'll get more southern flair at Clemson than any of the other schools on this list. Cute accents, lots of sunshine and friendly females. There's not much to complain about here.

12 of 16

5. Wake Forest University

Jeremy Bravard-USA TODAY Sports

It may take them a few hours to get ready, but when the Wake Forest ladies are finally done, you'll realize not a moment was wasted. They may also not be into you unless you drive an imported car.

4. Virginia Tech

Peter Casey-USA TODAY Sports

The best thing about the lady Hokies is that they don't try too hard. They're fun to hang out with and easy-going. Not to mention, Blacksburg is a real neat town.

3. Florida State University

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The Florida State Seminoles should offer a major in attraction. It could be a B.S. in Body Sculpting, or something like that. The ladies here wouldn't need to take the classes. They would just get straight As for existing.

2. University of Virginia

Jason O. Watson-USA TODAY Sports

The Virginia Cavaliers are definitely the dark horse on this list, but for good reason. The consistency here is through the roof. Don't expect to see too many pairs of sweatpants in Charlottesville.

1. University of Miami

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

These girls are too hot for their own good. Don't expect to find someone you can bring home to your mama, but that's probably a good thing. With absolutely no doubt in my mind, I pronounce the University of Miami the ACC's hottest school.
