The 2013 MLB All Star Game may not have been the most exciting game to watch as the American League held on for the 3-0 win, but there’s at least one great storyline to take away from the game–which is the fan who fan on the field after posting a challenge for himself on Twitter.

A fan by the name of Dylan Masone posted a message on Twitter about how he would run on to the field if he received 1,000 re-tweet’s–which apparently he didn’t expect to happen. As you can see below, Masone posted numerous messages on his account before actually running on to the field and to be honest–this was quite hilarious to see.

Here some of Masone’s tweets:

The funny thing about this is nobody even realized Masone ran on to the field since it wasn’t actually shown during the game and the only reason why anybody knew about it in the first place was because of social media. It’s difficult to understand why fans make the decision to run on the field since most of them get arrested and face a hefty fine, but this story of Masone may be the funniest since that Philadelphia Phillies fan got hit with the taser.

Oh and the best part about this whole thing–the text messages Masone’s mom was sending him before he decided to run on the field.
