We all know what football players are capable of doing on the field, but it’s their actions off the field that can make a true impact in the lives of others. Recently, Memphis Tigers quarterback Jacob Karam took some time out of his day to visit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to see some of the kids and while this experience is a story of its own–it was the piano duet performed with 11-year-old Breanna Bercegeay that has caught the hearts of fans across the country.

The video below shows Karem and Breanna performing the popular song “Price Tags” by Jessie J on the piano and the performance alone is enough to bring tears to your eyes. Unfortunately, Breanna was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia back in June–which is an aggressive cancer of the blood and bone marrow–so the last two months haven’t been the easiest for her to deal with.

Despite everything that has happened, it’s amazing to see Karem come through with an act of kindness like this and the best part about this is the two apparently performed 10 songs together on the piano–which is simply awesome. Nobody should ever have to go through something like this at such a young age, but Breanna deserves all of the credit in the world for having such a positive attitude during the performance.

On a side note, how beautiful of a singing voice does Breanna have? We wish Breanna the best of luck during her recovery process and be sure to check out her “Cheering For Breanna” Facebook page to show your support.
