Check Out Jets QB Mark Sanchez’s Hilarious Response to One Fan on Twitter

After a career that’s been anything but consistent, all eyes will be on Mark Sanchez over the next couple of weeks as the New York Jets quarterback will do everything in his power to earn another shot at the starting job over Geno Smith. At this point, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to hear fans express their frustration over Sanchez considering he’s failed to live up to the numbers with the amount of money he’s making.

However, just because Sanchez is feeling the heat from fans doesn’t mean he can’t have a sense of humor and roll along with the punches thrown his way on social media sites–especially Twitter.

Obviously, professional athletes receive these types of messages all the time on social media and while most of them tend to just ignore messages like this–Sanchez apparently thought it would be hilarious to just kill the fan with kindness instead. It’s one thing for fans to be frustrated over certain players, but to wish serious injuries on them? Seems a bit intense–no matter how frustrating Sanchez’s performances on the field may have been over the years.

As for the Jets in general, it will certainly be interesting to see how well they perform in their preseason opener against the Detroit Lions on Friday. Between Sanchez and Rex Ryan, there’s a lot riding on how well this team performs this season after back-to-back disappointing seasons–so Friday’s game should be fun to watch.
