When it comes to the Oklahoma Sooners, it's safe to say they're always going to be in contention for the National Championship at the beginning of the season--which is exactly the case once again in 2013.

On top of having a solid football team each year, the Sooners are always known for the gorgeous girls sitting on the sidelines each week and it's safe to say they have some of the hottest cheerleaders in the country. As great as watching college football can be, the lovely ladies standing on the sidelines can make the experience even more exciting.

After finishing 10-3 overall in 2012, the Sooners hope to play even better next season and contend for the National Championship as they head into the year ranked No. 16 in the country. Hopefully, the Sooners can live up to the preseason hype and be one of the top teams in the Big 12 once again this season.

In honor of college football being right around the corner, we thought we would honor the Sooners by providing fans with an awesome gallery to get even more pumped up for what's in store for next season. Without wasting any more time, here's a look at the hottest photos of Oklahoma cheerleaders.

  • Texan

White chicks are ALWAYS the best cheerleaders, way to go Oklahoma, only one black afirmative action member.

    • BoSundling

Excuse me, but your racism is showing; you are an embarrassment to this or any forum, for that matter.

    • unclesamonmars

Hey there Texan. Please inform us of the year Texass finally allowed African-Americans on it’s football team. Here’s a clue. Their first letter-man was in 1970.Prentice Gautt played at OU from 1956-1959. OK? That’s your history lesson. Better run on to your KKK meeting. You don’t want to miss that application of accelerant to a religious symbol class.

    • joe

that is a pretty ignorant thing to say
actually, that is a pretty stupid thing to say, even if you are ignorant

      • Chuck Monroe

        But true.

  • Str8jacket

The best team should have the hottest cheerleaders.

  • John Heimer

They had to remove the REAL grass from the Cheerleader practice field at OU, The “girls” kept grazing it down to the dirt.

    • OK_Sam

      OH, another Aggie! Or what?

    • John W.H.

yep we need extra security to keep those cow girls off of our practice field

  • Mac Gardner

    Str8jacket,
I guess that’s true since OU just beat Alabama for the 3rd time in the last 12 years when they :”UPSET” Alabama by 14 points a few hours after Mark May showed his ass by predicting that Alabama would beat OU by 40 points. OU is the only team to have a winning record versus Alabama at 3-1-1. The last time Bama beat OU was FIFTY years ago, in the 1963 Orange bowl game. Bob Stoops is 3-0 versus Alabama. The Soonrs blew Alabama away in a pick em game 12 years ago by about 30 points in Norman, then beat Bama at Tuscaloosa two years later, and then, there was last night……he he he. Bama is a graet team, but OU beating Alabama last night was NO FLUKE. OU’s FRESHMAN quarterback, Trevor “Good” Knight outplayed Alabama’s great QB, A.J, McCarron all night long. OU’s injury riddled defense DOMINATED Alabama’s NFL quality offensive line. OU played the game without 7 starters who were hurt.

As an AL fan, I have to agree with you. It is always a tough game, even though infrequent. I can remember when OU was a real powerhouse team, and the OU-Neb game was one of the best rivalries in the country. I have a lot of respect for the OU team and program. Maybe next time!

      • OK_Sam

Thanks Joe. We Okies love to play Alabama, its fans, its history. We are both great football schools. Roll Tide & Boomer Sooner!

  • mpwoody74@yahoo.com

I think all the girls are beautiful and the black girls is as beautiful antrynd any cheerleader in the country and I am a white man

  • Chuck Monroe

All the OU cheerleaders are cute except the black one. I guess you have to have a token in every crowd.

  • Rocky Williams

Mark May…okie light announcer, cowpoke joke, streetcone “U”, 85-17-7, nonrival, overrated stoolwater, oklahoma…..
All respect to Alabama, a real football school. (unlike osu-cks….
