Jadeveon Clowney is known for his big hits and his basic domination of the college football world. Steve Spurrier should consider himself lucky to have the opportunity to coach such an awe-inspiring athlete.
As such a talented athlete and college football superstar, the junior defensive end has earned himself the nickname ‘The Freak’. As a former high school All-American, it’s no secret that this guy was bound to burst onto the scene in a big way once he set foot on the South Carolina Gamecocks‘ campus.
Recording 54 tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks is no joke, but Clowney made the 2012 season look like another day in the office. This guy can do the most amazing things and make it look easy. There’s no wonder why he is the subject of ESPN‘s “The Freak” college football preview video.
Check out the hilarious commercial here:
As you can see, the commercial portrays the All-American as a nightmare to the rest of the SEC. Picturing this guy after you go to bed has to be frightening, especially after the hit he laid on Michigan Wolverines running back Vincent Smith in the Outback Bowl last season.
If you aren’t impressed by Clowney and his scary talent by now, you will be by the end of the season. Clowney will surely be a top pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and no other player has been as hyped up as this guy in the past few years.
Some people may criticize this video saying they are over-hyping Clowney, but with his talent and production, there really is no possible way to commit such a crime.
