The Arizona Wildcats‘ football team likes to have fun. This was made obvious by their recent act in the locker room following the last day of training camp. Doing their best imitation of Dancing With the Stars, Rich Rodriguez let his team blow off a little steam by holding a dance-off in the center of the Wildcats’ locker room.

Check out the video here:

As you can see, the head coach was all for the playful gesture and even organized it, announcing the order of dancers. Songs were played of all sorts and the team looked like it was enjoying the fun they could have as part of a major college football program off the field.

This has to be the best thing that happened in college football this offseason, other than maybe Lane Kiffin‘s ice cream delivery to the USC Trojans‘ marching band.

More teams need to take after the example set by the Wildcats because they obviously know how to let loose, and usually the teams that can do that are the most successful and have a higher chemistry once the season begins. Coming off an 8-5 season in 2012 with a bowl victory, Rodriguez has his team poised for a possible 10-win season — something that will be made possible by the potent offense.

I can watch this video over and over and it never gets old. Some of these guys have pretty awesome moves while others just go out there to get a reaction out of the spectators and make themselves look silly for the betterment of team morale.

This is gold.
