With the postseason right around the corner, it will certainly be interesting to see if the Pittsburgh Pirates can continue to be one of the top teams in baseball and earn a playoff spot–which fans have been anxious to see happen for quite some time. Pirates fans have had plenty to cheer about this season now that their team finally has a winning record and while the city has been known to have plenty of dedicated fans that have suffered over the years–it’s safe to say nothing tops the fan shown in the photo above.

The Pirates recently wrapped u a series this weekend against the San Francisco Giants and one dedicated fan decided to pull off one of the greatest entrances of all time not just by showing up in a boat, but a boat that he turned into a small pirate ship. What makes this entrance even better is his buddies that were wiling to use their own boat to pull the pirate ship along in the middle of the second inning.

One of the best things about sports is seeing which fans are crazy enough to go all out and take their dedication to a whole new level–which is exactly what this guy did. It’s one thing to support your team during a home game, but the fact that this Pirates fan was willing to go all out like this for a game in San Francisco proves he’s easily one of the most dedicated fans in Pittsburgh.

For his sake, let’s hope the Pirates do end up making the playoffs just so we can see what this fan is capable of pulling off in October.
