Offseason workouts are vital to any player’s development and could make the difference between an average season and a career-year. Well, if you haven’t seen the incredible picture of Texas A&M Aggies running back Ben Malena, you just haven’t seen a successful offseason pay off.
Take a look at the incredible picture of the running back.

As you can see, the senior running back has done everything in his power to make sure he has a breakout final collegiate season. His arms are so scary big that even Hulk Hogan would have nightmares.
Malena had a solid junior season with 138 carries for 808 yards and eight touchdowns. If I was a betting man, I would think it’s safe to say Malena is looking to build his draft stock and what better way to do so than to work out so much that even the NFL guys would be impressed with the results.
As part of the Aggies, Malena has a great chance to shine in the offense that he’s in. Quarterback Johnny Manziel, despite all of his off-field issues, is a great player and offensive catalyst.
Manziel could get Malena some positive yards on the receiving end while using him to take some pressure off the passing game and getting more touches this season than in his previous two seasons combined. Either way, this can be nothing but a good thing for the Aggies with a Heisman quarterback and a running back that looks like he slept in a gym this summer.
