Rickie Fowler is known for his out-there clothing choices and his comical personality, but this latest ‘series’ of commercials will have you laughing at golf more than you ever have — unless you watch Charles Barkley swing a club. Yeah, I went there.

Fowler is a solid golfer these days and there isn’t much that this guy can’t do. While he’s been in the golf spotlight more because of his wicked orange outfit instead of his two career wins, he is back in the spotlight because of his cool flow and his sense of humor in this latest Farmers Insurance commercial series portraying his as a 70′s style private investigator — of golf. Oh, and he goes by the name, “Dick Fowler, P.I.” — very creative.

Here’s the golfer’s first episode:

As you can see, he can be pretty funny on the golf course and off. Every golfer knows that the number one rule in golf is ‘don’t talk during someone’s backswing’. Well, in this episode, someone wasn’t following the rule and Dick Fowler comes in to save the day. He stops the man from interrupting someone else’s golf game and tees off against the man’s phone — hilarious.

He seems to be a pretty awesome personality from the game of golf and the sport needs someone like him to somewhat break the mold. Fowler is just 24 years old so more victories on the course are sure to come his way, but if not, there’s always a career in acting waiting for him.
