According to an article written by the Associated Press Tuesday, LeBron James will be the executive producer of a new Starz sitcom titled, “Survivor’s Remorse.”

The show will follow two men from the streets who attain success, one in the NBA and one elsewhere, and how they deal with that fame, fortune, family and friends.

“When you make it out, everyone expects for — they automatically think that they made it out and it’s very tough for a young, African-American 18-year-old kid to now hold the responsibility of a whole city, of a whole community,” said James. ”I can relate to that as well.”

The other producers of the show will be longtime friend and business partner Maverick Carter, Tom Werner, who produced shows like “Roseanne” and “The Cosby Show”,  actor Mike O’Malley, who will be an executive producer as well as the show’s writer, and Paul Wachter.

“It’s definitely not an autobiographical series about my life or LeBron’s life; it’s fictional characters living in a fictional world,” said Carter.

The show is based in North Philadelphia instead of Akron, OH where both Carter and James grew up. But Werner said that the idea for the show arose after talking to both men about their lives and the hardships they had to overcome to make it in today’s world.

“It’s a contemporary piece, which we’ve been trying to find,” Carter said. “But mostly it’s an opportunity to bring us into a world where guys as producers and a terrifically talented guy as a writer who I think are going to take the audience on an interesting, fun and I would bet funny ride.”

Starz is yet to set a release date for the show.
