Fan Letter Begs For $1 Million Contract From New Orleans Pelicans For One Year

Fans nowadays are acting more and more like their favorite athletes — or at least trying to — than ever before. People try to imitate their favorite athletes and young kids strive to one day play for their favorite team. Some of these stories turn out well, however, as some kids end up on their favorite team growing up, while this one fan is a bit old — we think — to be wishing to join an NBA team.

Check out this fan’s awesome letter, asking the New Orleans Pelicans to offer him a 1-year, $1 million contract.

How would you like a 1 mill a year superstar better than KD LeBron James MJ Kobie Bryant. I am serious I’m top notch. I haven’t played in 5 years and can do it all. Need to practice I am rusty. I am 6’3″ to 6’5″ can do shot’s block post pass defend rebound steal run do it all. Come get in touch I’ll be top of the NBA in two years. I’m [?] want only 1 mill for life a year. At least come get me [?] me one year. Phone [blank] [blank]. I’m what you need for total success. I play hurt sick and still win. See ya.

Here’s the actual picture of the letter from the fan. As you can tell, it is poorly written, poorly spelled and just flat-out ridiculous.

It’s hard to tell if it’s a kid or an adult, but the fact that he said he’s 6-foot-3 to 6-foot-5 makes me think that he’s an adult. The fact that he wants to play for a Pelicans makes me think that he’s an innocent kid.

Either way, funny stuff.
