Last weekend, we unofficially closed out summer with the start of the college football season as we saw the return of NCAA Football back on TV and part of our daily lives. This weekend, we welcome fall as it is opening weekend in the NFL, which got started on Thursday night.
Officially, football fans can say that their weekends are booked up from here until the first Sunday in February.
While many like to enjoy and watch all the football action by just watching the games, we know just as many like to watch these games, especially NFL games by playing Fantasy Football. Yet just as many of you like to enjoy watching football by placing a wager or two on several games over the weekend. Here are some ATS and straight up picks on some of the games to be played over the weekend for entertainment purposes.
Last week, I went 4-1 on my ATS picks, with my lone loss being Nebraska not covering such a large spread against a Wyoming team who showed that the Cornhuskers have not solved the defensive issues they had to end the 2012 season. With my straight up picks, I went 5-0 to round out a good opening weekend of my picking games.
This weekend, we will incorporate both college and NFL games now that both will have started their seasons. All the lines used for the ATS picks are courtesy of Covers.com, while the lines in my bonus picks section are courtesy of Bovada.lv.
