Let’s hope Bruno Mars is a fan of the cold weather–because it looks like he’s going to be performing at this year’s Super Bowl at the Meadowlands.

Mars will reportedly perform during halftime of Super Bowl XLVIII at Met-Life Stadium in February as the artist has seen his popularity skyrocket over the last couple of years–so it’s safe to say he’s certainly earned the gig. From Just The Way You Are to Locked Out of Heaven, it’s difficult to ignore the fact that Mars does have some catchy tunes to jam out to–whether you happen to be a fan of the singer or not.

The Super Bowl halftime show is an honor for any artist to perform at and considering the types of shows (aka the Victoria Secret Fashion Show) he’s performed at over the years, there’s no question Mars will most likely put on a good show for football fans around the world watching.

Of course, the main question that will be on the back of everyone’s mind leading up to this year’s Super Bowl will be if the weather is going to hold up. There’s been a ton of controversy over the last couple of years about how this game is being played in New Jersey during the month of February and what the NFL has planned if snow ended up having an impact on the game.

Only time will tell, but at least the NFL has one less thing to worry about now that Mars is performing at halftime.
