The Dallas Cowboys seem to have found themselves a new fan. This fan comes in the form of the most popular athlete and best NBA player in the world, LeBron James. For some reason, King James was at the Cowboys game on Sunday night and got to hang out with some pretty famous people.
Just when you think you will stop hearing about James and his interesting offseason following an NBA title, he pops up in the media once more. Not sure if he loves the attention or the attention loves him — or both — but the basketball superstar seems to always be in the spotlight. When you are the best player in your respective sport and possibly the best athlete on the planet, that kind of thing happens.
Well, taking in a Cowboys game with Jerry Jones and Hulk Hogan is one way to find a way back into the spotlight. First of all, Dallas is ‘America’s team’ and one of the most attention-grabbing teams in all of sports. Secondly, Jerry Jones loves attention as well, so I wouldn’t doubt if he asked the superstar to take a trip to Dallas for the game. Lastly, he’s not even from Dallas nor does he play in Dallas.
I’m not saying it’s wrong to like a team from a different state, but since he’s all pro-Miami and pro-Ohio sports, he should have been cheering on some different teams this week.
Check out the picture with LeBron and Jerry:
He captioned this picture with a hashtag with the phrase ‘one of the greatest owners of all time’. This may be a true statement, but in a ‘what have you done for me lately?’ business, many Cowboys fans would disagree.
Oh yeah, he hung out with head coach Jason Garrett, George Strait and Hulk Hogan, too.
