Justin Beiber Becomes Best Friends With Floyd Mayweather, Gets to Walk Him to Ring

In case you didn’t know, there’s some sort of boxing match tomorrow against two of the best boxers in the world. Floyd Mayweather will take his unbeaten record and distinction of “best boxer in the world” into a Las Vegas bout with fellow unbeaten fighter, Canelo Alvarez.

This is on track to be one of the biggest fights of all-time — and for good reason. It places the best boxer in the world against the best up-and-coming fighter in the world. This is supposedly “the fight to save boxing” — as if boxing was ever a dying sport. In my opinion, boxing doesn’t need to be saved, the ignorant people who believe it’s dying are those that know nothing about the sport.

Back to the real, yet unfortunate, story. Justin Beiber, the Canadian-born superstar singer, is set to lead Mayweather into the ring on Saturday night. Yes, Beiber will be leading his good friend Floyd “Money” Mayweather into the ring tomorrow night to be his ‘hype man’. If this isn’t the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen, I don’t know what is.

Mayweather couldn’t have made a worse choice in hype man and to pick Beiber over all of his famous friend sort of makes him look ridiculous.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Mayweather will come out victorious yet again, but I just think this was a poor move if he wants to try and get hyped up for a fight. Yeah, let’s ask a 19-year-old pop singer to hype him up.

Good job, Money.
