LeBron James is one of the most polarizing athletes in professional sports history. I say that because this guy is in the news for almost anything and everything that he does. If LeBron sneezes, we hear about it because his heart stopped for a nanosecond and we could have lost the King to a sneeze — okay, that might be a bit ridiculous, but you get the idea. The newest feature in the NBA 2K14 video game allows users to take control of King James’ career and mold it any way they want.

The feature in this year’s NBA 2K game is called “LeBron: Path the Greatness”. If you think this is a little ridiculous, it isn’t — it’s a lot ridiculous. In this portion of the game, users take over LeBron’s career from today until the time of his retirement.

How many people want to take over the career of the best player in the NBA and just win more championships and MVPs instead of making their own player with their own name and start from scratch? I’m guessing not too mnay people outside of Miami.

The Miami Heat superstar is on the cover of the 2K14 game and it just shows how much the creators of the game think of the MVP and world champion.

On one hand, this is kind of a dumb concept, but on the other hand, it’s brilliant. While not too many people will play his career just to see how much he can win, most people will take advantage of LeBron in the 2014 free agency market — seeing him in a different uniform would be pretty awesome.

Anything is possible with LeBron and now you have control of that.
