The Florida State Seminoles will host the Nevada Wolfpack on Saturday afternoon with one thing on quarterback Jameis Winston‘s mind: meeting the player who has the ridiculous mullet on the defensive side of things. Okay, so maybe that’s not the only thing on the freshman quarterback’s mind as he probably wants to take down the Wolfpack and improve his team to 2-0.

Winston has been known for saying funny things and just keeping reporters on their toes because of his quote-worthy sayings. Earlier in the week, Winston even stated he was excited to play the Wolfpack because he heard that one of their players has an awesome mullet.

Usually players get excited for games because of the opportunity to prove just how good they or their team is, but Jameis likes mullets — apparently.

Obviously he was saying that he was excited to meet the player with a mullet as a joke, but the mullet is definitely no joke at all. Take a look at the guy’s lochs.

The mullet is real and so is the player. Brock Hekking is a defensive end for the Wolfpack and he’s a pretty solid one at that. The junior defensive end racked up 73 tackles and eight sacks a season ago and could get up close and personal with the freshman quarterback — seemingly granting his wish to meet No. 53 and the mullet.

Mullets are a rarity these days and it’s rare to see one of such perfect flow on the head of an athlete who is trying to be serious.

Just amazing, Brock.
