After many considered them the team to beat in the NFC East, the first two weeks of the 2013 NFL season have been nothing but frustrating for Eli Manning and the New York Giants as the team is coming off an embarrassing 41-23 loss to the Denver Broncos at home on Sunday. Manning has always been considered one of the most competitive players in the NFL throughout his career and he’s even established a reputation for his classic looks of frustrating facial expressions.

While there have been plenty of hilarious looks from over the years, the latest by Manning in the photo above may arguably be one of the best ones yet.

The photo above was taken from Sunday’s game in the fourth quarter against the Broncos and while it may be difficult to figure out what he’s looking at–there’s no debate the frustrated look on Manning’s face is priceless and frightening to look at. Not only did Eli have to deal with his Giants being embarrassed in their home opener, but losing to his older brother Peyton Manning is never fun to deal with either.

In other words–nobody should be surprised that one of the classic Manning looks of frustration came out on Sunday.

If there’s anything to take away from Sunday’s game, it would be Manning is in need of desperate help in the ground game as he simply can’t do it all himself as the ground game struggled once again. It’s only been two weeks, but let’s hope this isn’t a preview of what’s in store for the Giants in 2013.

Otherwise–we could be seeing plenty of more hilarious Manning looks of frustration over the next couple of months.
