The Cleveland Indians are in the midst of a fierce battle for the last wild-card slot. Cleveland has locked up its first winning season since 2007 and look to be serious contenders for the postseason, sitting just a half-game out of the last wild-card position.

Playing against the Houston Astros should be an almost guaranteed win, right? Wrong. The Astros took to the Indians into extra innings, but Cleveland snuck away with a 2-1 victory. During the game however, there was one fan that turned some heads with her amazing catch. Yes, a fan made possibly the play of the game with a fantastic catch in the stands.

If you haven’t seen it yet, check out “the catch” here:

As you can see, the ball is heading right for the stands in line-drive manner, likely looking like it will end poorly. However, a glove reaches into the air and snags the ball before it knocks innocent bystanders over with the incredible force behind it.

The glove comes down and a face behind the catch is revealed. It’s a middle-aged woman that looks just as shocked that she caught the ball as we are — if not more. The way she reached into the air, full extension, and grabbed the ball made us think she has done this before.

Maybe it’s time for the Astros to sign her to a contract seeing as their 100-plus losses aren’t something that puts people in seats. If they signed a middle-aged woman to a contract to play shortstop, this team would surely capture some attention.
