The Chicago Blackhawks have one of the best locker rooms in professional hockey for a multitude of reasons. The defending Stanley Cup Champions have a number of foreign stars such as Marian Hossa and Jonathan Toews who have a serious reputation as the voices of the NHL. The same serious reputation does not certainly apply for the team’s American stars, especially Patrick Kane.

That being said, Kane’s raw display of stickhandling was on display for the world to see earlier this month when he made a demo drill video for Bauer Hockey. Kane’s incredible hands which scored 23 goals captivated the internet as people proclaimed the video looked staged.

Not to be outdone, teammate Brandon Bollig, the ‘Hawks notorious fourth-line bruiser, had a go in what is being called “Operation Rain Drop”.

As you can see above, the resulting trainwreck is visual gold, and Bollig’s ability to laugh at himself makes for yet another viral hit for the Blackhawks, a team with a strong social media presence in a league where teams such as the Los Angeles Kings have made a name for themselves by using social media.

Although able to laugh at himself in this parody video, ‘Hawks fans would be naive to not take Bollig’s game seriously. Despite not having registered a point in two part-time NHL seasons, Bollig has already scored twice this preseason as the 26-year-old looks to become a better-rounded player.

In the meantime though, Bollig will continue his reputation as a bruiser, the owner of a hilarious Twitter account, and one of the funniest players in the Blackhawks locker room.
