The legend of Sweet Pea just keeps growing by the day. Once a relatively unknown stripper in the Baltimore area, she’s now become a viral sensation. Ms. Pea is of course the young lady who allegedly hit Baltimore Ravens‘ wide receiver Jacoby Jones in the head with a champagne bottle this past weekend. Although, Bryant McKinnie who was also on the same party bus with Jones, denies such an incident ever took place: “He didn’t get hit over the head with a bottle. You had a girl who managed to find her way on the bus at the end of the night. She wasn’t invited.”

But somehow, Jones ended up with a laceration on his head and this story got started. It all sounds too crazy to not be true, but if McKinnie says nothing happened, I guess I’ll go with it.

However, that didn’t stop the Ravens from poking a little fun at Jones during practice this week. Reports state that the team played a song entitled ‘Sweet Pea’ over the loud speakers on Wednesday to remind the receiver of his infamous run-in over the weekend.

Here’s the classic tune from the 1960’s:

Regardless of whether or not the legend of Sweet Pea is true, this was one heck of ‘rib’ on Jones.

I’m not qualified in anyway to give someone life advice, but if you’re spending your Saturday night with a stripper named Sweet Pea, you may want to consider making a few changes to your social life.
