Anybody who grew up in the 90’s and loved basketball, watched NBA Inside Stuff on Saturday mornings. For folks like myself that only had a few channels, it was the best way to get caught up on all the action from around the NBA. Segments like ‘Rewind’ and ‘Jam Session’ were must-sees. Ahmad Rashad and co-host Summer Sanders brought you the best the league had to offer each week and got fans the 411 they needed to know the ins-and-outs of the association. The show aired from 1990-2005 on NBC and ABC.

Here’s a taste of how Ahmad used to lay it down:

Now, the classic show is slated to return to NBA TV this fall. Rashad will no longer be the host, as Grant Hill is set take on his first new gig after retiring from basketball this past spring. It’s safe to say that Hill has his work cut out for him.

Summer Sanders or Willow Bay won’t return as the co-host, but NBA TV has found a suitable replacement in Kristen Ledlow. She’s a co-host of The Morning Drive radio show in Atlanta and she’s previously worked for Fox Sports and Also, she’s the opposite of ugly.

I don’t think there’s any way the new version can live up to the old one, but I’m willing to give it a shot. With all the new technology at the show’s disposal, there’s no reason it can’t be entertaining.
