One of the biggest surprises of the 2013 season so far has been the impressive play of the Kansas City Chiefs under first year head coach Andy Reid. After spending the last 14 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, Reid joined the Chiefs during the offseason and has made an impact right away as the team is off to a 4-0 start–which is impressive considering the team’s 2-14 record last year.

Yes, it is weird to see Reid dressed in Red instead of black or green like the last 14 seasons and while it may still take time to adjust to the change, apparently some of us still aren’t used to the change.

As you can see in the video above, the ref from Sunday’s game between the Chiefs and New York Giants, Terry McAulay, was crediting Reid for winning a challenge, but accidentally said “Philadelphia” wouldn’t be charged with the timeout instead of Kansas City. After all those years of officiating Reid when he was coaching the Eagles, it’s understandable McAulay is still adjusting to the head coach being in the City of Brotherly Love, but this mistake is just hilarious.

If he wasn’t used to Reid being the head coach in Kansas City before, there’s a good chance McAulay won’t make this mistake again as football fans across the country are getting a good laugh over this video. Look at the bright side McAulay, at least you got the call correct in the game–which is the most important factor of all.
