College football did not let anyone down this weekend. There were good games galore such as the LSU Tigers traveling to face the Georgia Bulldogs or the Wisconsin Badgers taking on the Ohio State Buckeyes. Neither game disappointed in excitement and fans of both teams got their fair share excitement. However, one game disappointed at least one fan — to the point of drowning in popcorn.

How can you drown in popcorn, you ask? Just watch this Washington State Cougars fan make it happen:

It’s pretty odd to see the stands so empty at a college football game featuring a top-five national team in the Stanford Cardinal, but when it’s a home game for the Cougars and they were getting dominated to the tune of a 41-3 loss, it’s hard to not drown yourself in a popcorn shower.

Stanford looks like one of the best teams in the country, easily, and they are starting to turn fans across the country into binge eaters by blowing out team after team. Washington State had a relatively encouraging start to the season, but they suffered their second loss and are starting to look like the same team that struggled to stay relevant for years.

It’s never fun being the little brother of the Washington Huskies, but now that they have fans pouring popcorn all over their faces to try and forget about the loss, the Cougars have not hit an all-time low.

We all thought the USC Trojans‘ situation was bad, but watching this guy carelessly shower himself in popcorn is just sad.
