It’s been a very rough couple of weeks for Josh Freeman. In the season opener his teammate Lavonte David pushed Geno Smith out of bounds and drew a late hit penalty that ultimately cost the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the game. Then in week two, the Bucs again lost on a last second field goal. Week three came along and matters only got worse, as Freeman and the Bucs were steam rolled by the New England Patriots. Now as week five is getting underway, Freeman finds himself on the open market. The Bucs couldn’t trade him, so they ultimately decided to cut him loose and pay him the remaining $6.2 million on his contract.

So it makes you wonder – what’s really going on in the quarterback’s life right now? Well, visitors to www.RantSports.com are in luck. Through our ‘sources’ we were able to obtain a snapshot of Freeman’s fake email inbox:

As bad as things might seem for him at the moment, it looks like he still has a lot of people that care about him. Heck, it even looks like he already has a few job offers on the table. It also seems like the media was blowing his failing relationship with Greg Schiano way out of proportion.

It’s nice that a lot of people are wishing him well at the moment, but after one glance at his inbox, it’s safe to assume that Josh Freeman is going to be just fine.
