As if you needed another reason to hate the Miami Heat, LeBron James or Floyd Mayweather.

The boxing superstar has been in the news as of late for his gambling habit, but this story actually has nothing to do with “Money May’s” pocketbook. Instead, the Heat supposedly asked the undefeated boxer to speak to Miami’s players about the challenge of repeating. Obviously, Mayweather is an expert when it comes to this as his 45-0 record speaks for itself.

Apparently, the speech from Mayweather was pretty riveting, so if Floyd’s left hooks start to lose some speed at least the boxing icon has a future in motivational speaking.

James was the most vocal about the visit saying “It’s something you can talk about years from now when you look back on the history of sports. That guy was at our practice.”

How cute.

I understand what Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra is trying to do, yet the fact that Mayweather, LeBron and Dwyane Wade could all have their egos co-exist in one room is actually rather surprising. You would think that a meeting of the minds such as this could only end with the government shutting down or something, but maybe that’s just me talking crazy.
