Losing has become a common occurrence in the city of Jacksonville. The Jacksonville Jaguars are the worst team in the NFL and there’s no close second — although some would argue otherwise. How bad are the Jags? So bad that the official Denver Broncos‘ Twitter page called them out for being so bad.

The Jaguars-Broncos game this week has the biggest point spread in the history of placing bets in NFL games. The spread is 28 points and that’s unheard of seeing as that’s the average scoring of about half of the NFL per game — and the Broncos are predicted to win by that much. Okay, I get it. The Broncos are the best team in the league and quite possibly the best offense to ever grace the NFL, but to take a shot at the lowly Jags is just kicking them while they’re down.

What do I mean by taking a shot? The Broncos Twitter page posted this after their most recent 51-48 win over the Dallas Cowboys:

As you can see, the Jaguars replied with a “Stay classy, Denver” and that was that. Whether Denver was just trying to give people an idea of just how good the Broncos offense has been or proving how bad the Jaguars are, it was clear that Jacksonville’s Twitter folks were not happy.

Looks like these two will exchange blows during the game and the Jaguars will come out fired up. Bulletin board material for sure. They are going to shock the world — by losing by just 27 points.
