Athletics have been promoting breast cancer awareness a lot lately with players in all sports wearing articles of pink clothing such as socks, gloves and sweatbands. This is probably the most respectable thing any sport or teams have done in recent memory because this growing disease has been plaguing millions of people throughout the years.

Everyone knows someone who has breast cancer and everyone who is anyone hates breast cancer. Pink has become the famous color for the awareness of the disease and hopefully if enough money can be raised in order to do more research on it, a cure will be found so we don’t have to live with such a devastating disease plaguing innocent people.

The New Mexico State Aggies unveiled possibly the coolest way to commemorate awareness. The football team may not be the most talented on the field, but they will be the most respected on Oct. 19 against the Rice Owls.

If you want to know exactly what I’m talking about, take a look at these jerseys the team unveiled on Tuesday:

New Mexico State

If this doesn’t make you smile, then you probably don’t have a heart. These guys look awesome in their pink jerseys and will be be wearing the most respected and head-turning uniforms come Oct. 19.

This has to make New Mexico State everyone’s favorite underdog now. If these uniforms don’t scream “real men”, then I don’t know what does. Whoever said “real men don’t wear pink” needs to take a serious look at this.

Well done, New Mexico State. You are now the most respected school in college football.
