Tom Brady is one of the coolest guys out there. He’s got his own fan base and, heck, he’s got his own commercials. How could I forget his multiple Super Bowl rings that he probably wears anywhere he goes in public with his wife. People probably want to be him so bad that they would give anything to be in his position.
As the leader of the New England Patriots, the veteran quarterback has led his team to a 5-1 record through six weeks this season and he has done so much with very few weapons on offense. Having to rely on guys like Kenbrell Thompkins and Julian Edelman, probably guys you’ve never heard of before this season, Brady has been the hero of this team and the fan base for the quarterback has been growing by the minute.
People are, once again, amazed by what Brady can do with the weapons he is given. He has turned Edelman into a solid target and someone that he will continue to throw to once Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski are fully healthy. He has also turned Thompkins into an instant hero after his last-second catch against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night that won the Patriots the game.
Edelman, however, is not impressed:
Hey, Julian, good job man. Wait, no? Okay, cool. See you in the locker room.
Maybe Edelman isn’t so happy that he will soon be the third target on offense instead of Brady’s No. 1 option or maybe it was a mistake. Either way, he made Brady look like a fool.
Well done, Mr. Edelman.
